2003: Company Formed and Initial Recognition

After presentation of the AUSV concept to various government agencies, the Office of Naval Research requests a proposed Statement of Work to extend the Harbor Wing Technologies, Inc. design to accommodate Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) and Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) for command, control, communication, and navigation.

2003: Company Inception  

Harbor Wing Technologies, Inc. is formed. Mark Ott and Admiral Stuart Platt design the AUSV and bring together the Harbor Wing engineering team.  The AUSV embodies the melding of aeronautical and nautical design research into a unique, multi-use surveillance and exploration vessel. It is an environmentally-friendly, low-cost solution for open ocean security and marine survey operations.
