We are pleased to have again been recognized by being awarded a runner-up award for "Most Innovative Product" in the Maritime and Harbor Security division. Reviewed by an experienced panel of Maritime experts, Harbor Wing's advancements since last year in the continued development of our Autonomous Unmanned Surface Vessel were again seen as highly innovative and potentially game changing. The Summit again drew a prestigious group of over 40 innovative and technology laden companies focused on bringing advanced security products to Military, Government and First Responder agencies. This award again represents the commitment and continued excellence of Harbor Wing's product development. 2007Harbor Wing and the California Institute of Technology (“Caltech”) on behalf of its operating division, the Jet Propulsion Laboratory (“JPL”), have decided to enter into discussions to explore the possible application of JPL technologies to Harbor Wing’s autonomous unmanned surface vessels to develop or enhance certain autonomous capabilities including but not limited to obstacle detection and avoidance, trajectory generation, waypoint following and vessel health monitoring.
