The Harbor Wing command and control guidance system enables control personnel to direct the AUSV's operations while monitoring data from sensor, surveillance and measurement suites. The system will provide VHR, Satellite and/or line of sight communications between the AUSV and the command station. The workstation command and control computing equipment is semi-portable and easily located and maintained on shore or aboard command vessels. This innovative system is designed by vehicle guidance experts including Dr. Gabriel Elkaim, Mercury Computer Systems, Raytheon Integrated Defense Systems and the Claremont Research Center. The system breaks new ground in ocean-going automation.
A highly visual and graphical user interface presents pertinent navigational and situational data to operations personnel who can provide long-term or short-term command input for navigation and ocean operations.
